Spend this Summer Working for Progressive Change

Since 2004 we have been working hard to stop many of the horrendous policies supported by Republicans in Congress and in the White House - we're elated to have been part of taking back the House and Senate, creating the opportunity for real progressive change on key issues like the war in Iraq, education policy, healthcare, and energy.

We're incredibly pleased with the new balance of power in Washington, but we know our work is far from over. We continue to work on behalf of the DNC to get more people engaged in the party and build on the successes of 2006. We're also pleased to be running a non-partisan summer canvass campaign with the ACLU to defend and restore our civil liberties.  Real change will always begin at the grassroots, and the 2006 election was no different.  Join Grassroots Campaigns staff, and be part of an ongoing wave of progressive organizing and fundraising that will lead us to ongoing success through the 2008 elections and beyond.
